Warm-Up Sketches + Color Tests
To prepare for a conference or event, I usually test some color combinations on different paper styles (if the request is not digital). Below are some characters, colors, and textures I was experimenting with.


Teaching Sketch Notes to Others!
In addition to sketching conferences, meetings, and events, I teach Idea Visualization at SCAD. We begin experimenting with writing styles, icons, and techniques and close with each student sketching a favorite ted talk or piece of media for the other students to learn from.




Sketching Conferences
Sketchnotes came to me as a way to manage a learning disability, create visual shortcuts and maintain stories and important information in my mind. My style is a combo of sketching and mapping, and I utilize frameworks, shorthand, and consistent iconography. Below is a collection of some of my favorite moments.
